My name is Alan Peterson, and I am from West Bloomfield Michigan. I am a Syracuse University alumnus with a degree in the Music and Entertainment Industry (Bandier Program), and I have many different skills and talents. But I like to think of myself as one thing, and one thing specifically…a creator.

And I realize calling myself “a creator” may come off as pretentious and dumb, but nevertheless I wholeheartedly feel that is the truth. I am a creator. I have always been a performer and creator as long as I can remember. Whether I was taking dance classes trying to emulate the late great Michael Jackson, or I was making a beat that I can rap over, or I was thinking of a joke that I could perform in stand-up or in a video sketch, I was always creating. I was, and still am, looking for ways to bring high quality entertainment content to the masses; whether that means being out front “in the bright lights” or being behind the scenes.

I want to make content that sticks with people. I want to make content that will make people laugh, cry, and think (not necessarily in that order or all at once). I want to make content that can inspire, create discussion, transform minds, help people grow and come together. In fact, I don’t just want to create content like this, but I CAN, and I DO create entertainment content that does all of these things.

Music and entertainment are my passions, and I truly believe that I am here to reach people through the two mediums. I also think I am here to not only express myself and share my own voice, but also provide and amplify the voices and thoughts of others. Whatever is produced by “Alan Peterson Productions” is made from the heart, and expressed honestly. And you can bet your bottom dollar that if it says “Alan Peterson Productions” it was made and presented with YOU (the people) in mind. Or in other words, it’s a gift from the corridors of my mind to yours.
